well... got this from a chinese compo book... found it very very meaningful, true and beautiful... Giving from the heart is what is most important, no matter what you gave... as it can really really spread warmth can't it? Does doing good deeds beget rewards then? I don't think so... why should people do good deeds for the sake of receiving something in return? that really defeats the purpose isn't it? if people think they won't recieve anything in return... believe me... they won't even bother to think twice about doing good deeds... therefore, one should not have the notion of getting something back in return for the good they've done...

Well... I'm not advertising for an cosmetics but referring to "christians" who treat Christianity like one... What defines a cosmetic? Something that ladies out on during the day to beautify themselves and then washes them all off at the end of the day... Then what is a cosmetic christian? It is someone who puts on a christian mask every Sunday, washes it off every other day...

Why live in regret when one can just lead a carefree life? why make mistakes that will make us hate ourselves probably for eternity? Life-changing maybe, but why learn the hard way? okay... maybe taking the easy way out is not the answer either... but why do we have to wait for something to happen before we ever learn?
